Traveled across country switching flights and all that and stowed easily in the overhead. Recommend this bass for anyone traveling who doesn't want to leave music behind. I was surprised how good this sounded.… read more my son in law used this for his recordings (he produces some music) and he was pleased as well. I wouldn't put this up against any high end basses but it definitely is as good as many midrange models. the compact size is super cool and I got a few compliments on it.
