Nice low tones

Yeah, they are a bear to put on. They are short and require some pretty good upper-body strength to stretch far enough to reach to tuning pegs. Then, you have to retune and retune over and over to get them to finally stay in tune. Or, you could do what I did and pre-stretch them prior to mounting them on your Ubass. I measured from the bridge to about five inches past the tuning read more peg and marked that distance on a 1 X 2. Then I clamped one end down and stretched it past the mark and clamped the other end. I let it sit for a day and when I took it out of the clamps, it was much easier to stretch and put on. Now, not only do they sound great, they were easy to put on.

Love these strings!

I replaced the grey sticky strings that came with my acoustic Kala UBass with these and they are fantastic! Nice and smooth and the black looks much better than the grey too. Very happy

Well I purchased these in case of emergency so far I haven't had to replace any strings on my Kala U-Bass. They are the OEM strings and I'm sure will maintain the sound that I am currently hearing.
