I was really pleased to find my uke a very natural sound when amplified with this pick-up. At this point, it satisfies my need to amplify my uke when playing it for a show totally. Glad you recommended it.

This pickup was extremely easy to install (right under the strings on the bridge), but the best part is that it does in fact bring out the natural acoustic sound of the ukulele. It makes spending more money on more expensive pickups totally unnecessary.

I have two of these: One is on my 8-string Baritone ukulele and the other is on my Boulder Creek Riptide Baritone Ukulele. I have the older model on my Tenor ukulele and have used it for years with no problems. They fit perfectly and are easy to install; just loosen the strings and slip it in. They are beautifully finished and blend in with the look of both ukuleles. In both cases… read more I can use them with the cables included or with my wireless transmitters. In both cases the rich acoustic sound of each instrument (complex 8-string and bright Riptide) is preserved. Both send enough signal that I can either plug directly into my amp or attach through my Fishman preamp. The volume control makes it easy to balance the signal with whatever amp setup I am using. The volume control is handy for solos without dealing with a boost box. And I always have the KNA AP-2 available for additional instruments I may want to pick up and play.

I have an 8 string Kala ukulele,very different sound in a standard tuning with high strings an octive higher.Everybody on praise loves the sound,pickup works great
