Just what I was looking for

I record on a Tascam DP32SD (standalone hard disk recorder). Although that unit has a few effects, I wanted a way to enhance vocals, with reverb and delay (also doubling). This unit is easy to use, just plug in a microphone, and then go in your choice of mono or stereo to the Tascam. It also acts as a preamp, so low output dynamic mics like the Shure SM58 give you a better recording read more level on the recorder, w/o having to turn up the Tascam preamps to the max. It even has phantom power for my condenser mic (altho the Tascam has that, too). I don't really use the harmony feature (I record all my harmonies on separate tracks), but I can see how that could be good in live performance. Price is a bit high, but I still give it 5 stars.

I was looking for something that could give me a little more echo and reverb with my horn. This pedal works great right out of the box! Has decent life with a batteries but I picked up an ac plug for it. Have not used it for voice just yet but should be the same experience.

Those familiar with my playing and my setup constantly ask me why I use a VE20 in conjunction with my Bose T8S mixer and the enhancements that Logic Pro X can add. The answer is it gives me exactly the sound I want from my alto and tenor saxes. Give a listen. I"m just an old guy trying to get back into it after leaving music behind way back in 83 due to acute hearing loss.

Actually I have not had much time yet to use VE-20. Just read the manual tried a few buttons. So far it is impressive and built very well.I tried a few harmonies and liked what I heard. Once l become more familiar with it I'll send you a better review. The reason I was interested in the VE-20 is I wanted a vocal Processor that did not require a guitar to trigger the correct harmonies. read more I play bass so most processors would not work for me. I need to select the correct key with a footswitch, not a guitar. According to the reviews you can change keys with the footswitch without bending down to turn any knobs. However the manual is not very clear on that and I have not yet found how to do it. I would appreciate if you would Let me know how to change keys with just the footswitch. That would save me some time and avoid a lot of trail and error.
