I've had this amp for just over a year now- amazing range of tones. The digital features are icing on the cake. Very few reviews of this on the net, but it can do everything from beautiful clean to raging distortion. I've packed away most pedals and my helix. It's tough to decide on an amp like this without trying it out but take the blind leap- it's worth it.

In my quest for an amazing tone, I tried a bunch of different heads cabinets and combo amps. Owned everything from Marshall, Hughes and Kettner, Randall, Peavey, line 6, Crate, and a few others. Many sounded good. Even great. But after buying the VHX from Ashe at Sweetwater, I discovered what killer tone really is. It sounds better than you could even imagine. Both sound truly phenomenal but I am always partial to the Gibson sound. Do yourself a favor if you are fortunate enough to find one available. Buy it

This thing is absolutely amazing. I have yet to find something this amp cannot do. On top of that, the folks at Diezel seem to take the time to communicate with all of their customers via social media and other Internet forums. I have never seen a company's CEO reaching out, answering questions, and providing technical assistance the way Peter Diezel does. I tried a few other vendors and after a frustrating month, I talked to Larry at Sweetwater and he was able to come through for me.

Anybody who tells you this thing isn't every amp in one and a true chameleon that can do anything has not spent enough time with it. Very easy to use system with regular updates from Diezel that continue to add effects and features. It has been a dream come true to not have to worry about effects pedals, racks etc. Just plug right in connect a midi to change presets and go. And up to 99 presets can be stored.
