Nice replacement for Les Paul Traditional

Steve

Didn't care for the Grover chrome locking tuners on my 2011 Les Paul Traditional. They're an excellent tuner, but I just wanted more of a vintage style. These are designed to use two screws in the back of the headstock whereas the Grover only used one screw. The screw holes do not line up perfectly, so I mounted them drilling just one small hole and using one screw without a problem. read more With the threaded bushing in the headstock, they aren't going anywhere. They look and work great!. Max at Sweetwater was awesome and allowed me to exhange for the yellow colored tuner since I ordered the green ones by mistake. I am very happy with this purchase!!

Solid Replacements

I'm old school so replaced the Grover locking tuners on my new 2017 Les Paul Classic. Even though the Grover's are very good... still they just didn't look quite right to me... these are very good replacements. I did have to get bigger hole inserts from StewMac to make them work on the bigger holes the Grovers use.
