i have these now on a gibson sg standard and an epiphone es 339. I need 1 more set for my gibson '73 restore project. for years ive used various $40 tuners, good ones but not great. these are by far the nicest electric guitar tuners ive ever used.

the stock grover 105n's that came on my gibson SG standard were good, but very heavy. SG's tend to have neck dive anyway but the grovers were way too heavy. After installing these i eliminated 3 oz's and its balanced nicely. these are the nicest vintage tuners ive ever used, fairly certain kluson makes them for gibson. you cant go wrong with these if you want a high end tuner.

The gear and the service perfect as always. My favorite store. Great people selling great stuff.

Someone replaced the original tuners on my '90 LP Classic Goldtop with Grover locking tuners, ruining the originality of the guitar. The first thing I did after I bought it was buy these tuners for it. They fit perfectly, and the guitar looks original again. You don't need locking tuners. I bend the strings a lot, and I've never had a problem with the original Gibson tuners.
