Great Pedal
I really love the way this pedal sounds and feels.
Works perfect
Ibanez wa 10,works as described . Adjustability is different than other wa-s that I have used in the past years , Will take some getting used to .
Wah wow
Was looking for a wah with bypass, that wouldn't kill my tone when the pedal was in the down/off position. My sales guy Corey Elliot suggested this one. Did the trick. Thanks Corey, thanks Ibanez
Amazing!
This wah pedal is absolutely amazing. I had pre ordered it in July and it came in a couple weeks ago. It makes sense with the global pandemic stuff but that's besides the point. When I turned that pedal on I felt like John Frusciante. It's amazing. There's a catch though. If you want the John Frusciante thing out of this pedal you need to have some gain in your signal from… read more either an overdrive pedal or your amp. The pedal has depth knob on the side that adds gain. (I run depth at max). So if you run the pedal into a clean channel with no drive at all, there will be a significant volume Jump. I cannot stress that enough. If you turn the depth knob down it works as a regular wah. Another thing about the pedal is the switch on it. It's kinda difficult to turn off and on but I just gotten used to it. I can't tell a difference between the true and buffered bypass switch. The guitar and bass switch is interesting. If you have it in bass mode the sweep of the sound is an octave lower. I used the bass switch on guitar and it was a cool sound . I haven't used the pedal on the bass and I don't think I will. Overall this pedal is well worth the wait and money! If you are looking for the Frusciante sound it absolutely nails it.
Ibanez WH10v3 has got it!
Previous versions were beta testing compared to this new premium version of the Ibanez WH10. Sturdy build, funky sharp wah-wah sound and functions you can't normally find on Wah pedals in this price range. To me, this iteration is for sure, the most satisfying the WH10 will ever be. Great for funk, blues and even metal (Hendrix, Frusciante, even Vai). Now the only reason I do take… read more off half a star is mainly due to the fact getting a perfect sound with this wah-wah does require some knowledge of fiddling with your rig to get the best sound as possible. This pedal does have quite the volume boost so some people find it best to lower their guitar pickups to sit more flush with the surface of the body, making the pickups sound less sensitive. Also, look into how people set up their amp gain with this pedal. It does also sound the best through single coil pickups as well but whatever, WAH-WAH is WAH-WAH. Rock on!
