The best sounding Acoustic/Electric Guitar i have ever owned. I've had around 30 different Acoustic/Electric guitars in my 45 years of playing, and this is my favorite one ever! For the price you will be amazed of the sound even before you plug it in! 100% satisfied

An acoustic joy

I have a full range of guitars from super expensive to the cheap and curious. I have always found anything with the name Yamaha on it to be high quality and this guitar is a fine representation of that perception. The finish on the guitar is the deepest black and excellent binding throughout...not a fault anywhere. I knew it would a good guitar to play because I was raised on read more Yamaha FG guitars and they were always a joy to play. I had the techs at Sweetwater set this up for a lighter string .10 . The set-up out of the box was a delight and impeccable. When you add the Transacoustic aspect this guitar inspires. The TA is not overwhelming or super loud acoustically but the ambiance and effect is present enough to truly make playing it a refreshing experience. This was a no-brainer for me at the price point...rivaling any of my acoustics no matter the price and offering a play ability no other guitar of mine offers.

GREAT GUITAR

The absolute, without a doubt, best sounding acoustic guitar I have ever played. Reverb unplugged. Astonishing!!
