Elixer 11152 12 string harmonic heavenly tone
Gotta a 12 string? If so you need these strings, as they last a long time on the guitar, ready to be strummed when you are. They just don't tarnish like other brands do.
Worth it
put these on an old Atlas t-470 mercury and they are really nice, this guitar has got a real baseball bat of a neck on it and these have made it play better(easier) they sound better than the Dadarrio set i had on there(over double the price) but when you factor in the hassle of restringing and the performance def worth buying
Elixir 12 String
Crispest, brightest strings I have EVER had on my Ovation. And they kept their brightness longer than any other strings! I recently had to use D'addario XS because Elixer was out of stock for 12-strings. They don't compare.
Elixir strings
Ive read ,where some guitarists think the coated strings have a muted sound on higher toned strings.I am not finding this problem,on my 12 string guitars.I own a D angelico, and a guild. Both came with D addario strings.im not going to knock other strings, but i do believe the elixirs are a good fit for both makes of 12 string guitars. They are definately easier on the fingers.I found… read more no muting of tone on any strings .
Great Sound and Tone.
The guitar tone has been very consistent since I first put the on. I have not had to keep re-tuning my guitar. As a beginner guitarist, I was going to purchase a cheaper priced string but my Sales Engineer, Ben Gilbert (x1301) suggested these strings. I am glad I listened because this 30 year old garage sale guitar sounds great.
