i wouldnt say they are THE BEST Strings. But, they are in the top tier.I put them on a maple guild 12 string. And am quite happy with the results. Im constantly searching for a particular sound from my 12 string (5) guitars. These daddarios may be the closeset. Lets see how long they last. If they have longevity ill be buying again..i dont have an issue with prices as long as the… read more strings perform.
Best quality strings I've ever used
Had bronze acoustic strings on my Taylor T-5 and wasn't happy with a very unbalanced sound. I finally decided to try these as I have been using them on my T-5 six strings and love them. Really glad I put these on my 12 string T-5 C1. Beautiful harmonies, very balanced. Easy on the fingers after long playing sessions. They stay in tune and my six string versions have lasted for a… read more much longer time than the phospher bronze ever did. Love these and will start putting them on my regular Taylor and Gibson acoustic guitars as well.
DADDARIO NICKE BRONZE STRINGS
MY NAME IS lINfRED BRANIN I PLAYED LAST NIGHT WITH THESE STRINGS THEY RESPOND VERY WELL TO THE AMP LIGHT TOUCH TO THE STRINGS
Love the Sound
Replaced Elixir strings on a 12 string Maton Mini and to my ears the Nickel Bronze have a more robust sound. As nickel was used on old timey strings, I will be interested to hear what they sound like when they go dead. I am looking for that Nick Drake, Jeff Tweedy sound.
GREAT SOUND
These strings seem to have lower tension than others. They "RING OUT" without the tin sound. Also, they are light to the touch and Capo very well. Put a set on and played for 4 hours. They also seem louder than average. The only question left is how long they last. I have tried every brand out there and can never get more than 2 weeks before they start to break. If they last longer,… read more these will be my strings of choice forever.
