My normal string choice is Elixir but we all know, no 12 string sets are available at this time. After using these strings for a while I can say they are excellent strings, they feel great and do not feel like they are coated. I like the fact that they feel so good, but I prefer 80/20 brightness and chime esp for a twelve. I am sure anyone that prefers Phosphor Bronze will actually… read more love these strings. That said I would only buy these again if they make an 80/20 version because the coating is almost imperceptible and they play so well. Hope that helps anyone hesitant on the cost, they're worth the money if you like Phosphor Bronze. Rock
