Lower tension tamed the action and WAY easier on my fingers. VERY bright. Great sounding.

I purchased these because they were the lightest gauge 12-string set I could find. I was looking to tame the mid- and low-end on my new Breedlove Pursuit. With the original strings (10-48 set), the higher note were being over-powered, especially when recording. The added benefit was the lower tension lowered the action from 0.062 for the low E to 0.052 (@ 12th fret). Obviously read more this made chords much easier to play. I'm not a 12-string player, I bought it to add the occasional fullness that you sometimes want for acoustic rhythm tracks. FYI The neck relief went from 0.010 @ 8th fret to 0.003. No fret buzz with my particular set-up. Your results may vary. Bob H
