Great stand-alone unit!
I put this little guy under my pedaltrain nano to power 4 pedals, 2 being Strymon pedals. It powers everything perfectly with no issues. Plus the variable voltage is always a plus. Highly recommend.
Perfect addition
Works just as I needed it to. Easy extension for my Cioks 7
Great addition!
Already have the DC 7 and needed 4 more outs for a new Nerual Quad Cortex. This is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly.
Perfect Compliment to a CIOKS DC7
I bought a CIOKS DC7 over a year ago, mainly because I'd read about the power supply's ability to be expanded using units like the CIOKS 4. Well, it took a long time for CIOKS to actually ship these expanders BUT as soon as Sweetwater got them in stock I ordered mine. I'm extremely happy I waited for several reasons. First of all, CIOKS power supplies handle all of my varied power… read more needs simply and easily. I own several tube driven pedals and they require 12 volts and high amperage. The CIOKS DC7 & CIOKS 4 have no problem driving these pedals, especially when it comes to delivering the requisite high amperage. Secondly, these units are relatively small compared to other options I've come across. Finally, I use Temple Audio pedal boards and CIOKS power supplies are predrilled to mount under Temple Audio boards and a set of screws are included in the box. For my needs, the CIOKS DC7 and CIOKS 4 expander were the smart, and no compromise, way to go. That said, I'm still wondering if I shouldn't have bought the CIOKS 8 expander instead but so far, I have all the power I need in a sleek and seamless system.
