Totally approachable

Sorry I didn't buy this one from Sweetwater. Barely used but I say all who look buy one! Thicker (is that C-shape?)neck but skinny width like a melody maker. Unlike many guitars, the middle toggle really gets it! Plug it in or fool around while watching tv. I bought to have something different and it turned out to be such a fun guitar

Nice job Danelectro!

I love the '58-'65 Danelectro short horn, and this is a faithful reissue of that! It has the right tuners, the right bridge, the right pickups, and actually a better neck and fret job than the originals. Also has an adjustable truss rod which the originals did not have. A versatile no-nonsense economy single-coil guitar!

This guitar has "twang" from here to Pluto!

I play primarily melody surf guitar in a local band so "twang" is the name of the game for me. When I plugged this Dano into my amp and let her ring I was blown away by the perfect surfy sound she produced. Light weight, well balanced on a strap, and a very smooth and playable neck all come together to form a combination that I'm going to put to a lot of use cranking out the 'verb read more drenched, twangy melodies I love to play!
