Built better than vintage model
if you're an old guy like me and owned several of these short horn Danelectros back in the day you will appreciate the authentic detail of this model. it's build quality is actually better than the vintage model. Better neck, frets, truss rod than the original. Nice they kept with the small Kluson type tuners rather than the clunky big Grover style tuners that do not belong. I guess… read more nobody makes those original white knobs anymore. I don't know if it sounds the same as my vintage '65 model but I imagine it's in the ballpark. Even the fret ends are a little sharp just like the originals but I fixed that!
