This guitar is truly great. I cant believe it is priced as low as it is. Fantastic tone. Great "jangle". It is incredibly easy to play. Intonation is spot on. Stays in tune for 'days'. The finish has a subtle sparkle behind the rich candy-apple red that is stunning to say the least. I cant stop playing it. My Strat and SG are a bit jealous. First let me say, this is a truly beautiful instrument. Even the professional photos that Sweetwater sent me before shipping the guitar don't do it justice. The red metallic finish is stunning. It's very well constructed and finished, and the fingerboard has a distinctive grain stripe going down its length that I think is pretty cool. As a "mature" but relatively new player, I… read more was a little intimidated with the idea of playing a 12-string, but it's just as easy to play (more so in some ways) than my other guitars (an Ibanez Artcore and inexpensive 6-string acoustic). I'm still experimenting with the sound, but it's got the awesome jangly sound you'd expect and is a joy to play. Well worth the wait for it to come in.
