Perfect fit!
I needed a 2nd power supply to fit under a Pedaltrain board that already housed a Voodoo Power 2 Plus. This fit perfectly and it's flexibility was exactly what I needed for the extra pedals. No extra hum or noise, it was perfect.
Really nice power supply
Based solely on your excellent video: "Choosing the Best Pedalboard Power Supply for You," I decided to try the Cioks DC5. I never heard of the company, but your video was informative, and I purchased the DC5. It got rid of the piercing high-pitched sound emanating from my Boss RE-20--I guess because I was not using an isolated power supply too close to a computer. I just got it… read more so hopefully it will last, but it did what I needed it to do, and it is a step up technology-wise from the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power which I also have.
Very pleased
Very happy with this for under a PedalTrain Nano+, which holds 4-6 pedals depending on the size. The RCA connectors really are great idea. There's no play or risk of them popping out. On some other pedal power supplies I've had, with the standard barrel plugs, I've had a few instances of them not working until I pulled them and reseated them. Doesn't see like it's be an issue… read more with the DC5 at any point. I've also used it under my PedalTrain Jr. as an addition to my PP2+ to provide me an 18V outlet and a couple more high current outlets. Works amazingly well for that. I may pick up another DC5 just for that. Cioks a little pricier than some of the competition, but I'm already a fan and I feel it's ultimately worth it.
CIOKS DC-5
Nice compact little unit. Lots of extra parts included, documentation is thorough and excellently laid out. Unit fits great on my homemade board. It's a little heavier than I anticipated it was going to be, but solid. I'm sold on the RCA type plug. Definitely recommended for a small basic board that allows for expansion.
Superb
I have owned the DC5 for a couple years now and I'm glad to see SWS is now carrying it. Very compact, fits u dear my pedal train. And I actually power 7 pedals with it. They have split power cords that you can run into 2 pedals from one plug at the pwr supply. I highly recommend any of the cioks products.
