Great pedal power, fits under smaller pedalboards
This is a rock solid power supply, and I believe it's the only one that's thin enough to fit comfortably under the D'addario XPND small pedalboard. It has 7 outlets, which is exactly how many pedals I can fit on my board.
Low Places
So I bought a D'Addario XPND pedal board (Small) because I only planed on a few basic pedals. Shortly thereafter I realized un-plugging various pedals every time I stepped away so batteries wouldn't drain was a PIA and I surely didn't want a collection of AC adapters as well. CIOKS DC7 certainly can handle my little board and then some. Also expandable !! My concern was fitment.… read more Not a lot of room to work with under a single row board. Even the velcro takes up valuable space. It Fit !! ... well kinda sorta ... The high side rubber feet are adjustable for height on the board but the low side feet are not. However there is just enough thread on the screws to place a Fender Strap Lock washer to raise it 1/8". Just. Yes !!! I placed the DC7 as far forward as i could and with no room to spare the pedal board sets flat on the floor with the DC7 under it. Very Happy. Lots of wires/plugs at different lengths to keep it neat and orderly. So far all my pedals are 9v and I just ordered a volume pedal that is 15v. No problem there either. Flip a tiny switch for that one pedal. A Shoutout to Matt Zuleger and Sweetwater for a wealth of information and help. It's nice to buy the right stuff first time around.
A marvelous power supply
Thanks to the ability to run outputs in parallel for devices that require higher current, this is the gold standard for powering a Quad Cortex along with other pedals. I'm running the QC and two other standard 9v devices, and while throwing everything I have at the QC it all runs flawlessly! The power supply itself is easy to set up, very light and low-profile, and the included… read more mounting screws for placing it on the underside of a Templeboard couldn't be easier. I anticipate owning this for years and years, especially since you can buy expansion kits for more outputs.
Love It
I got tired of waiting for a different company's new offering so I bought this. It works flawlessly, and is super small. I bought a bunch of their cables to be able to power more pedals and it is dead quiet and absolutely no issues. I am powering 15 pedals with 2 of them using a dedicated output and still have 2 outputs open...
Small, Quiet, and Powerful
I'm currently using a Cioks DC7 to power an HX Stomp,Meris Mercury7, Boss Wireless, Ehx HOG2, Morningstar mc6, Digitech Jamman, and Boss A/B Switcher. It's quiet, reliable, runs cool, and fits neatly under my pedaltrain Classic Pro. I like that it's expandable and it can power even the most ampre-hungry pedals. I've been using Cioks for about 10 years now. I've tried quite… read more a few manufacturers in the past and have never been quite as happy as I have been with Cioks. I went from using their PP10, to their Ciokolate, and now their DC7.
