This pedal is straight to the point, any time a boost is needed, this does the trick. Very diverse, it could be a quick boost while playing rhythm, a clean blues solo, or during a high gain scenario, and much more. I find numerous events where this device adds value, makes your guitar punch through the mix. As a boost pedal this is a great quality pedal. Where it really shines in my opinion is buttering up your tone. I saw a video (I think it was a more recent Anderton's video) that was not focused on the pedal but a guitar or amp or something. There was an off-hand comment about having it on the board in vintage mode, with the boost turned all the way down. If you want to add some tasty tones to your guitar and amp this is a no brainer. I run it through a Marshall dsl or a evh 5150111 el34s combo with a fender strat or humbuckers and sounds fantastic either way. I have the inner dip switch to unity..it's a perfect always on pedal and a lifer..works great with other pedals clean or dirty. I have had multiple EP pedals on multiple boards. It's one of the always on pedals and for good reason. Turns your tone in to glorious deliciousness.
