Fluence Strat Pickup Battery Pack - White Review

Best way to put active pickups in a strat

Bought Fishman Fluence pickups in my strat then realized the only place to battery without routing the body is under the pickgaurd. That is not practical to remove the pickgaurd every time you have to change the battery. I ordered the battery pack from Sweetwater and it arrived a couple of days later. It was easy to install an the pickups sound awesome.

If you're putting fishman fluence pickups or any active pickup or circuit into a stratocaster, this is a must have item!! It fit perfectly onto my Fender American deluxe Strat. Zero mods. (with the acception of wiring...) You will need to re-use the screws from your existing back plate, since no screws are provided. It works exactly as advertised. Well constructed and solves a big problem for active strat's without a 9 volt battery compartment. Worth the money.

Great Idea

An easy way to power my Fishman Fluence without having to put a 9 volt under the pickguard. 1 Charge 250 hours of play time. Brilliant

Charging convenience

This battery pack is worth it not to have to keep removing the pickguard to check on a 9V. I wondered if it would be uncomfortable having this sticking out from the back of my Strat, but it"s actually pretty thin and I don"t notice it at all. And other than an outline of the pack showing in the padding of my case, no issues there either.
