Does all, almost
I have a FlyRig 5V2 that I purchased well over a year ago and use in my main pedal board. The XLR out and the effect loop was the biggest selling point for me as I also use a Boss chorus, delay, tremolo and a Mosaic pedal. The FlyRig is the main control piece with clean, overdrive, boost, reverb and delay. I recently purchased another simply because I got tired off pulling the… read more FlyRig from the pedal board when it's all I needed for a practice or pick-up gig. It fits in my guitar case so no need to lug an amp. Easy in, easy out and it sounds great!
Bought for practice ...now so much more.
I boyght this for Church practice where we move from a practice space to hesitate in a matter of minutes. I slip this little guy into the front ouch of my gig bag and I'm off. But...it sounds so good I'm playing it most of the time. Everything on it works intuitively. I had a V1 and this is a great evolution. I bought a MONO drum stick bag from Sweetwater that works perfectly.
Best compact pedal so far
made soundcheck video on YT and i was so happy with this fly rig 5 v2. surely tech21 listens to their devotees suggestions for improvements.. i already had the brit and the cali version, so this v2 stepped into more versatile products by - adding loop section(since i really wanna put my modulation pedal such like chorus and tremolo) - built-in tuner and also as mute button, definitely… read more needed when goes to live performances - Pre/post booster! this works great since i always use booster pedal mainly as line driver to add more volume when doing solos rather than crank up the preamp to get more distortion actually i like this product alot i should put five star on it, but i guess 4.5 stars will be great.. i leave that half for room of improvement. can't wait to see another great pedal by tech21
One trip from to car to LOAD in..SET UP IN 10 MINS!
I built my pedal board around this and It sounds amazing! What a value..tuner..delay..3 types of amps..speaker emulator..etc.I can carry it on a plane!!! This rig is perfect and you dont need to be an MIT grad to play it ! THANKS SWEETWATER!
Fly Rig
I purchased this to bring along to a few upcoming gigs where the venues provide amps. The unit is super simple to use, operates like stomp boxes. Even though it is simple in operation, no hooking up to a computer needed, you can really dial in a variety of sounds. The owners manual provides sample settings for some classic sounds from VH, U2, Pink Floyd and others. At home I have… read more tried it through my Fender Tone Mater Twin and Handwired Vox AC 30. The Vox does not have reverb but I get a classic reverb out of the Fly Rig. Unit has a Plexi Drive, Blonde Overdrive, Delay, Reverb and boost for solos. Also has built in tuner and direct out with speaker emulator. Many great tones in a very user friendly package.
