Awesome Pedal

John

This pedal is fantastic. I've used individual pedals because in the past multi-effects processors just did not have the parameters of individual pedals. The technology has improved now. I read the reviews on the Boss pedal and although they were generally good there were complaints regarding the ease of programing. When I saw that the Zoom pedal has actual knobs for adjusting each read more parameter I decided to try it with a little hesitation concerning the parameters of the effects. After receiving the pedal and programming my sounds I chose to sell my individual pedals and keep the Zoom. This pedal has so much power and flexibility I can't conceive of ever replacing it. It's easy to program and easy to use.

Best sound I ever had

I created my own patches and the Diezel amp model gave me the cleanest distortion I've ever had. I've played through high end Mesa and Marshalls and this unit sounds better.

It reflects True Tone, great sound effects and maintenance free portability.

A stack, and a rack, in a floor pedal.

Lots of good useable effects, and amp models to go around. It sounds very good through a PA system, or a guitar amplifier. For you apartment dwellers, it sound great through headphones, and no eviction notices for noise violations. It sounds great for direct recording too. This processor is for the budding musician, or the gigging musician, pick it up as a back up rig or as your read more main rig. This thing has more choices than a tube snob could ever carry around, unless you are a famous musician who doesn't carry his own gear anyway!

Zoom All Th Way!

For the price, and available sounds it offers I say get it and enjoy creating music. Took the Zoom G5n into the studio and was very happy how the engineer complimented the sound it produce like having a rack system all in one touch!
