My favorite practice tool
I bought one of these last year to use mainly as a practice amp with headphones. Love it, really like the tuner in it. I ended up buying one for a friend, he really likes his too. I bought another one to use at another location. I run mine on rechargeable batteries, it will also run off a power bank or wall transformer. Taylor Perry at Sweetwater has been great to deal with. A small, lightweight gigbag-size pedal with amp modeling
I use the Zoom G1 Four pedal to plug directly into a pa system when gigging at small venues. It works very well, is small and lightweight and fits in my guitar gigbag pocket along with 2 cables. I use the Fender Twin Reverb and Deluxe Reverb amp model settings along with their corresponding cabinet patches and the sound is close enough I don't have to bring an amp with me. Also super simple to use - some great YouTube videos on how to get the best out of this! I've been playing for 10y only wish I'd found this thing a few years ago. I've spent so much money on my pedal board and basically this does the same and… read more more!
Long ago in a galaxy far away...
Back in the '70s you needed a minimum of 3 pedals (and a full piggy bank) just to make a garage band sound reputable. This ZOOM processor gives a guitar player more sounds/options to cover every genre of music in every decade since the guitar was invented. The best part is the price. You get a whole lotta love for what you would've spent on 3 pedals back in the day. I'm very satisfied… read more with this purchase. (My only disappointment was that I didn't buy the model with the wah wah pedal...you know, Hendrix style).
