Good fuzz pedal! Octave is good but specific taste

Title kind of rounds this up. This is a very good Fuzz pedal that rivals some of the best. It also has high end build, as well as high end components. After digging into this one both on my amps, and going Di with a Tech 21 Blonde(first I no chain) into a API 512c. I can say it work in both applications very well. However it will not sound good if you go DI by itself like most things. read more So last that the sound reminds me of Siamese Dream tone. It has that layered chord sound from "Today" on rhythm. You can go bright or dark for the tone. Sustain is great and crazy for solos. Solo wise you probably going to get a lot of mileage. Playing bluesy stuff or maybe going for a The Black Keys sound…this does it pretty well with the fuzz alone. Good single notes for NIN type minimal styles as well. The Octave: now for me it's all about the fuzz with this. The octave is a switch…so you need to have it on or set it up top to toggle fast. It's unique and can encourage some new sounds! It's mostly there for solos, and licks. But if you play 2 note chords…you can get into some weird alien sounding territory or early Industrial sounding days. Also some cool Muse sounding tones. That's my take on this pedal, and I highly recommend it for the Fuzz alone. If you're looking for more Octave options then probably look into a pedal that does just that. The Octave while good on this…is more of an extra. This is more just a huge Fuzz that'll get you a good 90s, blues and experimental tones. Very inspiring pedal if you're looking for something new! But also still basic in its setup to use it for modern things.

A superb pedal!

Mine is a B-stock version; it was cheaper(!) and supposedly is checked to work the same or better than a WARM Foxy Tone Box. Honestly, its input&output ports were reversed from the instruction specifications. It did nothing until I tried switching the cables' ports-they-were-plugged-in-to. It's excellent now! All features are cream of the crop! The analog sounds analog; so read more detailed and extremely warm! Its fuzz has SO MANY levels of detail! Love my WARM Foxy Tone Box!

Best fuzz and octave up

This orange box sounds as good as it looks! Versatile fuzz due to its tone knob and you can use the volume knob almost like an attenuator. The octave up is very hot, and everyone listening notices that screaming tone immediately. I'm using an SG standard with P90's through either a '59 Champ build or a Marshall Lead12 from 1986, and let me tell you, each barks with the mid-range read more most guitarists want. I'm cutting through everything. I also have to give the thumbs up once again to Matt and Sweetwater for having this on my doorstep free shipping within 24hours. (Fort Wayne to suburban Chicago but, wow! Wasn't expecting that) Anyway, if this is your thing, don't hesitate. Shop Sweetwater!

Best Fuzz I’ve ever heard

It's built like a tank and easy to use. It produces the amount of fuzz you want everything from subtle to over the top outrageously aggressive. It's really a fun pedal to use and it is a great looking unit. In my opinion it is the best and most versatile fuzz I've ever used.

Incredible
