Versatile Fuzz And Octave
This pedal is very easy to dial in. The three band EQ makes it easy to dial in the right tone instead of just a single tone knob. Plus being able to use the octave alone is a plus. If you are in the market for a cool fuzz, octave pedal give this one a try.
Great pedal; makes it easy to dial in the perfect fuzz
This is an amazing pedal for what it is: a versatile but not too wide-ranging fuzz/octave pedal. Perfect for what I was looking for. It has a slightly more modern fuzz sound on the "tight" setting, which doubles really well as a distortion pedal. The "wide" setting is closer to the vintage fuzz tones (and perfect for leads), but doesn't quite have the rough edge around the sound… read more like an octavio-style pedal does. Two of the best features in my opinion: 3-band EQ allows for a lot of tweaking the tone, and the separate switch for the octave effect is awesome. It's always bugged me that I have to lean down and flip a tiny switch to turn that on/off on most fuzz/octave pedals. Other than that, the build is strong, it feels sturdy, and the lights are bright but not blinding. Overall, I'd make a case for saying it's one of the best fuzz/octave pedals on the market!
Surprised
I never write reviews for anything but I felt like I should write a review for this…I didn"t know what to expect from this pedal because I knew it wasn"t a typical Fuzz pedal (it won"t clean up when turning volume down on the guitar) and I wasn"t super impressed with the online YouTube reviews people did, but I figured I would give this pedal a try since it was on sale. I was… read more completely surprised but how much it matches the Black Keys tone in their songs. I really like the tones I am getting from this pedal.
All You Need Is Fuzz
Until recently, Fuzz wasn't something that ranked high on my list. Mr. Duncan changed that several months ago, and I felt my Fuzz fascination would be satisfied for the foreseeable future. I was wrong. This pedal is AWESOME. It offers a wide range of tone shaping and is simple to use. But don't take my word for. Check out the video reviews of Tom Quayle and Brett Kingman. After… read more seeing Tom's video, I immediately called Sweetwater and placed my order. You're gonna want one. Just maybe, "Fuzz is all you need." Well done Brian. This pedal will rank up there with the Tumnus !!
