I like the Revv G2 so much I have two on my board. This is not a high gain pedal at all, but is very useful for pushing an amp or other pedals. Very very versatile pedal, and the aggression switch is like having three pedals in one box. As much as I love the Revv G3, the G2 gets a lot more play time. I was very impressed by the G2's ability to drive my amps lead channels into wonderfully saturated, yet articulate overdrive. I use the G2 on my Mesa Rectifier lead vintage channel, and my ENGL E530 lead channel. In both cases the G2 shined like a 3rd amp channel driving the preamps on both amps with a very full, dynamic, and touch sensitive overdrive signal...just like a real amp… read more channel! The blue and green drive modes add more EQ to the low, low mids, and presence. The red being the most aggressive and compressed channel. So if you are looking for a pedal that gives you another high quality, low noise, overdriven amp channel....this is it!

When I learned about the D20, I knew I had to get one. It was the product I was wanting but hadn't found. Excellent quality, sound and features. I then went further and got a G2 and G3 to go along with it. Pure bliss! The G2 Is a must have! Thanks Revv for these great products!

Bought this on a whim I did not need another drive pedal. Man I am glad I did!! Not just versatile, the quality is great. It is inspirational and makes me want to play. There is a downside though, playing this pedal through my tube amps have made me late for work twice this week. Tone chasers Beware!!
