This is a really good pedal and has an extensive range of overdrive. I have the G3 and really like it but it is a little much for our church worship music but the G2 is a perfect fit. It has just the right amount of crunch when you need it and rolling the volume back on your guitar cleans it up. Revv makes great products. I've tried several different overdrives and this fits great… read more for the style we play. So at home I crank the G3 and at church still crank the G2 but don't freak the people out to much lol. Thanks to my sale rep Nick Hammer for all his help over the last 5 years he has become a friend I trust to help us in the music world.

I've had this pedal for a month now and it is great. It's very tough sensitive, very easy to eq,and it makes me sound better than I am, lol. Seriously though its an amazing pedal. For classic rock, blues, modern country or most any style of music it has you covered. Through the front of your amp, the FX loop, or a PA system it works. Try it you want regret it.

Really good sounding pedal. Very versatile. If you're a ryhthm player or lead player then you'll enjoy the G2. The voicing switch adds additional versatility. Shapes for that amp tone and amp feel. Some pedals sound great at home for home volume and not so well at stage volume during live performances. The G2 is a performer for live stage and home. It delivers the great sounds and more! It has that great capability to provide my sound which is classic rock but easily blasts heavy metal saturation through my Marshall 100 Watt Heads! I love this pedal. The two way Blue & Red switch modes allow the sound to really blast off. This thing sounds SO good. I can't recommend it enough for those needing low to mid gain tones. Sounds good in front of the amp or in the effects loop return. Very amp-like in it's response. REVV not only makes great gear, but they also have excellent customer service!
