I had a few Overdrive pedals on my board that I used to use until I found and tried this at NAMM. Not one of the OD pedals I have has the punch, clarity, grit and power of this pedal. At NAMM I played it through the clean channel on a Revv head, then played it through the dirty channel to compare and the pedal sounded better! I currently play through a Fender'65 Deluxe Reverb that… read more doesn't have a dirty channel. I needed real distortion and it makes my OD pedals sound like bad tone in comparison. Keep in mind I use the lowest gain in most of my songs and it still rips! I click to Blue on a handful of tunes. The EQ is very wide ranging as well.

I wanted this pedal for awhile, finally got it and wow! Amazing sound and really inspires my playing.I can't say enough about it. Great pedal!

Metal, Metal, and more Metal. The 3 band eq is great and actually responsive. Lots of usable gain and the aggression switch kicks it up a notch. Needs a noise gate, definitely. Highly recommend. Sold my other distortion pedals, because this sounds great and is ultra usable for different types of metal.

When I learned about the D20, I knew I had to get one. It was the product I was wanting but hadn't found. Excellent quality, sound and features. I then went further and got a G2 and G3 to go along with it. Pure bliss! Thanks Revv for these great products!
