It's not an ODR

Mike

I bought this pedal as a solution to not buying a Nobels ODR. For me personally, I didn't get that Nobels ODR feeling from it. To me (which is always speculative, for I don't share ears with anyone) it kind of feels like a BOSS SD-1 with more flexibility. Overall it is a wonderful pedal, with plenty of range for a smooth light overdrive that can get gritty. I only compared it read more to a Nobels ODR because that's what demo vids had led me to believe. This pedal did not last long in my collection, but that's only because I am a keep only what you play player and this pedal didn't meet my needs. Not to say that it won't meet yours. Definitely built like a tank!

I hate this pedal

Yep, I hate this one. I have a lot of ODs and they all collect dust now. This little.gem is so sweet sounding I just step on it and play and play and play. Nothing else needed but my guitar. I works well with every guitar I have connected. The gain knob does vary the amount quickly and around 11 o'clock on it just adds sweat character. J Rockett's web site say "it compressed but read more in a good way" that for sure. I does add compression but the accent and warmth knobs expand the sound and make this an awesome drive pedal. It will push you amp too. At lower gains settings it is touch sensitive.but you lose that after about 10 o'clock but thats not a bad thing in any way. This thing is great sounding and is good for rythm and leads. I got this with the suggestion of Jed my local sales guys and he was a.great help and spot on with this pedal. Thank Sweetwater and JRAD this one is AWESOME!!
