I have been a Line6 customer since 2005. I have owned every floor multi effects unit since the XT. The one thing that I've always done is try to look into all the options possible within Line6 products. Back a couple units ago they finally let you go from basically going from patches to scenes and that was pretty cool but it didn't have one option that I always asked for. Enter read more the helix; the helix with the snapshot option is just beyond amazing and this is what I have been trying to do since 2005.Now with the helix is just simply amazing the options I have owned mine now for about three months maybe four and I am just now getting into the programming of the unit. The programming will go as deep as you want to go, for me it's kind of scary. Well I am a technology type of person with my Microsoft MCSC cert these units it just baffles me it's kind of funny actually. But enter the Helix I run my helix through a pair of headrush 12" speakers. The sound is simply amazing. Snapshots is something I have asked for and after a few decades Line6 has given the guitar player. Thank you.....

Out of stock for a reason. First off very cool color and cool looking. Under the hood lots of power. Lots of amps and effects. Not hard to figure it out. Comes with a giant cheat sheet. Or if you need help there's always videos. Touch sensitive which are amazing. But pretty easy to figure it out. When you see top singers and their guitarists ate using it you know it must be good. read more I mean top of the the cream of the crop acts. New stuff comes out all the time. When they consistently copy the same set up as the helix you know line6 is doing something right. I have the rack and the floorboard.

I have owned them all. This one's the best!

I have owned the Headrush, Kemper and the GT1000. This unit outperformed them all imho. They all had their strong points i.e.: Headrush's interface, Kemper's tone, GT1000's Size & FX palette. However, I couldn't get past some of their most obvious drawbacks. Loved the Headrush interface but couldn't deep dive into fx parameters. the GT did allow for that sort of thing but the interface read more was a nightmare to navigate and connectivity is mediocre at best (they should have stuck with the one on the GT100). Anyway, this unit has it all! Superlative sound, easy to navigate, fantastic connectivity (esp. digital connect to other Line6 gear). Costs a little more than the others but, totally worth every extra penny for the serious pro musician. Shout Out to my long-time Sweetwater Rep. Michael Eads!! Thank you!!

The only pedal I will ever need!

I've had many guitar processors over the years and this beats them all. I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, and watched many demo videos before finally choosing the Helix. I try to buy all my gear from Sweetwater, when possible. Their customer service is top notch and my sales engineer, Paul Eckert, always gives me solid advice.
