This thing is mean
This pedal sounds great. My fiancĂ© just bought it for me and gave it to me as an early x-mas present. The other review is correct, there is a lot of bottom end that doesn't seem to be able to be dialed out. Dime the tone knob and it's still got a lot of low end. I was surprised by that. Especially since everyone says this is a take on a rat but my rat doesn't have anywhere near… read more as much bottom end and this pedal to me hardly sounds like a rat. It still sounds incredible and stacking it with something that pushes mids and high can give great results and help balance it out.
Huge bottom end; could use a bass control IMO
Tried this and returned it. Has a huge, fat bottom end that cannot be dialed out. The quality of the distortion is stellar, but the bottom end made the pedal useless to me. If thick, fat bottom end is what you're looking for, then this is your distortion pedal.
