Great bass
Couldn't ask for much more at this price point. I really enjoy this bass. The only think keeping it from 5 stars is the fact that the minute you want to replace the string that come on this bass you have to modify the bridge to accept a standard 130 B string (the nut is cut for the 130 but the bridge is only drilled for 120).
Happy with bass, a bit misled by the description
I am very happy with this bass. The sound is great - I love the fader knob that allows me to "mix" between the bridge and neck pickups. The neck and fingerboard fit me well - I have better "sense" of where I am on the neck. Other positives: Good sustain (worthy of Nigel Tufnel), good weight (it feels heavy duty), beautiful finish. One complaint - The description of this guitar… read more on the Sweetwater site does not prominently state that the electronics are "active". I had to find out the hard way by picking up my bass one day and it didn't work because of a dead battery.
