Genuine Jimi Hendrix Fuzzface
I have this pedal not bought from here but own this very pedal and highly recomend it as part of that true Hendrix tone
BEST FUZZ EVER
I have played A LOT of fuzz pedals in my days. Some expensive legends and cheaper bang for your bucks. And I got this with the intention of modding it up but after getting it and plugging it into an Orange CR120 with a marshall cab, my jaw dropped. It's so much more vocal and raw than any germanium fuzz face or big muff I've ever played. And it cleans up I to an almost overdrive… read more like clean sound. You need this in your life. Shut up and but it right now! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
Excellent Fuzz Pedal
I love this pedal! I did not purchase the pedal to mimic Hendrix's tone exclusively, though I did want something that could fit that era, as well as similar contemporary styles of blues/psychedelic rock, and it does this with great success while taking up the smallest footprint on my board. The Hendrix FuzzFace mini is very responsive making it also quite versatile. This was… read more the best sounding of the Dunlop Fuzz Dace pedals in my opinion. No regrets on the purchase.
Just Right
I love this pedal. I've had mine since around 2009 or so...in the meantime got a mini version of the Geranium (red) fuzzface and like it, but most days of the week I'll use this one. It's big and bulky and built like a tank, mine has been used and abused and keeps coming back for more, calling to me to unplug the mini red and plug in the old turquoise tank. Along with a Fulltone… read more Deja Vibe it's pure magic to my ears and my soul. I've switched almost entirely to a non-battery set up recently, but will gladly reserve a drawer full of 9v batteries for my JH1 fuzzface and hope it lasts another ten years. Just remember to unplug when not using and it's actually really easy on batteries. I like mine right up front first in line anyway so it's easy to remember. If you're looking for that late 60s fuzz, that Machine Gun Izabella-like vibe then here it is. Get a Deja Vibe too and there you go...time warp back to '69/70 and I'll see you there.
Hendrix Fuzz Face
I own the Copper Bonamassa, The Eric Johnson, a 90's Red Germanium, and this Hendrix Fuzz Face. There is something really special about the Hendrix. It doesn't have as much gain as my Red Germ, or the EJ, but it doesn't NEED as much. It has a little more midrange warmth. It's just a great Fuzz pedal.
