Love this thing!

First thing I did when I put on the fuzz and envelope filter at the same time was play the Doctor Who theme and it was perfect! So much fun and I love the soft-switches. Also, what a visually attractive pedal! 11 out of 10, will Kangra again!

The Funkified Fuzz

Dial in some super funky & versatile analog filters with or without a fuzz that is perfect for lead riffs. Pedal exceeded my already high expectations from Walrus Audio. I highly recommend this pedal.

Surprisingly useful

I actually bought this as a novelty, as one would think an esoteric Kay-style fuzz and envelope filter would just be a gimmick. However, the filter side of this pedal is a surprisingly useful tone-shaper when you disengage the envelope. It can cop a screaming treble booster, or if you turn the resonance down a bit, you can cut some bass to tighten up riffs. The resonance and filter read more are essentially a one band parametric EQ. The filter with the envelop engaged is what you would expect. The fuzz is obnoxious into clean amp, which has its uses, but if you run this into dirt and play with your volume, it's a totally usable fuzz, particularly with the filter EQ'ing as I described above. This is going to be a mainstay on my board. It's like having a useful EQ, filter, wha (with added expression pedal), and octafuzz all in one pedal space...but it can still freak out to be that one novelty pedal we all need. And it stacks very well with other pedals. Definitely a sleeper. I'm very impressed. One tip: I think it sounds better with humbuckers

Versatile, Fun, Worth It

This pedal has been my first journey into both wah/filter and fuzz. I'm very pleased with both sounds, as well as the combo. The filter is incredibly versatile, especially with the envelope option -- I don't have an expression pedal, so I haven't been able to experiment with that yet. The fuzz is real dirty -- probably not the best for playing any more than 2 strings at a time, read more otherwise it gets very muddy. Having the mid scoop and the vintage/modern switch makes it even more useful. Sounds sweet on solos. Highly recommend buying this pedal.

I've only had the pedal a day or so. There's still probably more to dive into. My initial impressions after a few hours of playing with it are positive. The fuzz is very aggressive sounding, but it's a good sound. I think the description nails the tone, very spatty. The filters very usable on it's own. Initially, I was planning on mostly using the filter and fuzz separately for read more their respective songs, but after using them together, it's definitely a match made in heaven. I haven't tried it with an expression pedal, but I know I will. I do wish there was a fuzz control knob but the switches are surprisingly good for dialing in a decent sound. I prefer the modern fuzz setting personally.
