It’s a boost, but it’s not clean
For what it does, the boost is great! Nice way to live up a drive or push an amp. However, this is a very specific tone and color on your the knob is difficult to dial in. We need the original style enclosure and circuit again.

The not clean, clean boost
This pedal colors your signal in quite a specific way. It is not transparent, and is rather difficult to fine tune. The wheel on the side can be easily moved, and when you're tap dancing on pedals the last thing you want is to accidentally boost your signal 10db more than what you wanted (it happened, it was horrible). If you want THAT boosted sound, this does it and does it well.… read more However, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for an actual "clean" clean boost.
