What a great Plexi

I love this pedal. It's one of the best sounding Plexi in a box. I just set my Tube Amp to Clean and turn on the La Grange and I have a Plexi. had it for a few months and never get tired of the Plexi sound. The build quality is amazing.

You want a versatile "Marshall in a box?" This is it!

I love dirt boxes, especially "Marshall-in-a-box" types. I owned a fire-breathing Super Lead for 20+ years and being able to get that TONE at more reasonable levels is always a plus. I tried the Bogner Red and Blue pedals years back and was really impressed by them. But a box based on Billy Gibbons' Plexi tone was too intriguing to pass up, since he is one of my all-time favorites read more when it comes to dirty rock tones. The reviews were amazing so I was able to get my hands on a demo here at Sweetwater. I have to say that this is hands down the best Marshall in a box I have ever heard. Just like any other Bogner product, he thought of everything AND the kitchen sink. There is more than nasty BFG tone at hand here. With switchable gain stages, tone stacks, and even a "variac" switch, you can dial in anything from sweet JTM 45 punch to Eruption-esque bombast and more. I was able to dial it in right away, and it even turned my "fender-ish" clean channel into a raging wall of ear spank. The boost is even better, giving enough to take your leads over the band. I can't say enough about this pedal. One listen was all it took for our other guitarist to start thinking about getting one for himself.

Best OD I've Ever Owned

This pedal is absolutely fantastic. I LOVE the boost. Combined with a multi-channel amp, you have so many tonal options at your disposal. Everyone likes different things, but for me, I use a MESA express combo, 2 channel amp. Pretty standard clean and dirt options. But, I can run the boost into any one of those channels and get different tonal options just out of my amp alone. Now read more add the pedal's overdrive to the mix and you've got so much versatility. I run it into the front of the amp and I use the FX loop for other time-based FX. There isn't a gain setting that I am not ready for on the gig. It's awesome. On occasion I use a twin reverb, and this pedal also sounds killer through that. Simpler setup, and you're relying solely on the pedal for dirt tone with an amp like that, but it still does not disappoint. Highly, highly recommend. Experience with Sweetwater was great, as always.

The best Marshall-in-a-box Pedal Ever

Yeah - it's really that good. You will not find a better sounding Marshall amp emulation in a pedal than the La Grange. It does everything from JTM45 to Super Lead 1959 to saturated JCM800. It's the best.
