Lenny Boost/Overdrive Pedal Review

Great pedal

In my experience with this pedal having it over 6 months now and stacking it with blues type overdrives like "The Timmy" or "Tubescreamer" etc…. This pedal adds a great color tone to the other pedals, that brings out a great blues boost, and it can really get close to SRV tones. The Gain on it will add a bit of dirt as well. Great tone

I love it! It sounds great with multiple different guitar pick ups. I have Paul Reed Smith guitars, guitars with P90 pick ups, Stratocaster style guitars, they all sound divine through this device. It's heavy and seems very well-built. I will likely buy other petals from this manufacture.

An added edge.

I already had a good overdrive pedal but more often than not was using it as boost. I wanted to free it up for 'dirt' and find a boost pedal that would add volume and just a bit of tonal flavor. The Lenny seems to do that very well. It adds volume and sustain when soloing with a clean tone and also works to send your overdriven signal into a nice, tight "superdrive" with added volume… read more and sustain. J Rockett Audio Designs Lenny Boost pedal

Great pedal! Simple to use, works very well with humbuckers, and single coils, but it really loves Strat single coils, and p-90 pickups. I have several JRAD pedals and they all work as advertised, and then some. The Lenny pedal has just two knobs, but those two knobs do much more than You would ever think ! Lenny Boost Rocks

Ive been looking for a good overall Boost pedal. And this one works Great. Soon as you kick it on you get a good boost of volume and the punch your looking for. Its got a good I guess you would say mid range kick to it. Ranging from working well with country chicken picken to Stevie Ray Vaughn Blues all the way to driving your overdrive or distortion for some heavier rock. It just… read more makes anything cut through so much better. Giving you better feel and expression as well as clarity when playing. Mixes well with other pedals and amps. and each combination has its own characteristics. Its just a Awesome pedal and I highly recommend it.
