The noise cancelling is amazing!
My house is off the grid and runs on solar and the power inverter is very noisy. Way beyond the common 60 cycle hum. This power supply did away with all the noise. It's great. I couldn't recommend it more. I'd give it six stars if I could. If you ever have to play with backup power from a no-break, rest assured, you'll play with no hum. I also love the multiple voltage outputs… read more and those two variable voltage outputs are great for fuzz. Allows me to adjust the voltage up and down to get great tone. Love it! Side note. As others have mentioned, the white power indicator light is very very very bright. I guess it's meant to serve as a visible indicator when the power supply is under the pedalboard. But when placed on top of simple pedalboard it's just like a sun staring up at you. Nothing that can't be solved with a bit of tape though. Or an EQ as I did. ;) Fits just right over the power supply, kills the light and saves lots of space.
Solved my problem instantly.
My pedalboard is "old-school," with serial connections. I was having weird noise problems primarily from my BOSS TU-3 tuner (See photo of entire board) and BOSS CE-5 Chorus. I use the 2 OD pedals sparingly for low gain situations into my clean channel. Mostly I'm running into a high gain channel of Mesa Recto-Verb 50 or EVH LBX-S with the OD pedals not engaged. Switching out my… read more prior power supply to the MXR iso-brick solved my problems instantly. The flanger requires 18V, and this actually has 2x18V ports. The build feels rock solid. Obviously plays really well with the MXR pedals.
Fantastic
I have two of these on my pedalboard - one on my signal chain and one on my effects loop. Never an issue.
MXR ISO BRICK works well
I don't write very many reviews, I actually don't write much at all in general so, this will be short. This is powering 7 pedals on my pedalboard, it has a wide range of options. It's quiet and it doesn't take up very much space. Cory Konyshak has been my Sales Engineer for a couple of purchases and has been great at letting me know the status of my order and helping me deciding… read more on what equipment is best for my setup.
Perfect addition to pedal tray!
I ordered the MXR Iso-Brick after doing some research online. It looks very well made and I've had no issues with it. The packaging was very impressive and well organized. It's installed on a pedal tray mounted on a slide out rack tray in a studio rack. It has two adjustable pots which let you change the load on two pedals. I haven't used these but will probably at some point if… read more needed. I think the price point is excellent when compared to other products also. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase!!
