Made for Any Situation!
Many uses, like a Swiss Army knife, this pedal Is always a press away! Good for Amp modeling, Multi effects to just a single effect. And sound quality is Superb!
Excellent!
I bought this pedal in 2015, 6 years ago. It is one of the best gear purchases I've ever made. I use this pedal on my pedal board with classic analog pedals like a crybaby and big muff and it sounds fantastic. Perfect for those effects you only need every once in a while. The amp and cabinet models are great too and work perfect for direct recording. More often than not, I run my… read more pedal board straight into My USB interface and get an easily dialed in sound. You can't beat the value of this pedal.
Well worth the price
I bought this pedal as a Birthday present for my Father and he is very happy with it. I've heard him using it and sounds awesome and is everything that it states it is as advertised.
Great features in a compact package
The MS-50G is a great option in terms of price and size, but another feature that gets overlooked on this media is it can be set up efficiently to switch between single effects. I generally only use one modulation effect at a time, and you can program the MS-50G to cycle through any effects — or chains of effects — in any order just by tapping the footswitch. Other multi-effects… read more pedals can do this — and I've owned a few — but can't be reprogrammed or reordered as easily. Other vendors' modulation pedals don't allow you to switch between effect with just a footswitch. Also, you can save your settings with the MS-50G, and save multiple settings for the same effect in different slots. So if you're like me and you just want a half dozen great-sounding effects for occasional use, plus a pedal tuner, you can't find a better value than this. If you want more reverb, delay, EQ, amp and cab sims, you'll find plenty of usable sounds in those categories. The only cons for this pedal I find are the lack of an on/off switch (auto-off feature shuts off after 10 hours?), and the availability of a momentary latch or expression pedal input to control some settings. It would be great if you could use Zoom's Guitar Lab software to back up and configure your settings, too.
Awesome pedal!
This thing does everything I need and more. I am very glad I decided to get this. Thanks Zoom and Sweetwater!
