My 'always on' pedal for Guitar + Bass overdrive

I use the Operation Overlord in two different ways and move it between boards: 1. Guitar rig- I put this highly versatile, incredibly responsive overdrive pedal very first in my chain to tone shape and add a bit of hair while running direct on quite stages (Churches). Stacks well with other dirt pedals (I use a transparent drive behind it to boost and add saturation). 2. Bass… read more rig- I place this well thoughout overdrive to add saturation after my favorite bass DI using the Dry control at about 2-3o'clock. 3. No need for the boost section but I do toggle between the gain settings depending on what instrument Im using.

This is a great-sounding overdrive pedal. It really sound like a versatile tube amp. I would have given it five stars, but the boost is so loud that it's almost unusable. I am surprised that this pedal hasn't gotten more attention. The tone is very clear and responsve at every breakup level. I have had it for about two years now and I'm happy with the purchase.
