Lots of good sounds here, but be prepared to adjust it from guitar to guitar. If you're a set-and-forget kind of player or don't have a good relationship with your guitar's volume knob, it's not for you. For an octave pedal it's base fuzz sound is surprisingly usable. Playing lower on the fretboard won't get you a strong octave tone (which is typical for octave pedals) but it will… read more get you some cool fuzz sounds (which is a welcome change from most octave pedals). And higher up the fretboard it really has some magic to it. But it does require some patience to dial in for each guitar/amp you use.
THE BEST OCTAVIA
I have long search for that octavia sound from "Who Knows" and even "Blue on Black". This pedal absolutely nails both of them. I've been running it with a tubescreamer on and it's ridiculously good. You won't be disappointed at all if you buy it. Just remember that classic octavia sound happens between 9th and 12th frets on the neck pick up. Buy it!
Catalinbread Octapussy
Performs as advertised, seems to be more dynamic and flexible than most other octave-fuzzes
Awesome
My first octave fuzz pedal, and about my 8th fuzz overall. This is different from the rest in all the best ways.
