The Ottobit jr is so much more than I expected. The 3 sequencer destinations let you get extremely deep and program effects that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Using it with a drum machine is also amazing. Being able to stutter drums as little (or as much) as you want is great. And I especially how dead simple the expression pedal programming is. I bought this mainly for a synth experimental board and have been floored by the playability and features packed in this pedal. You can put almost any type of input into it from pianos, drum loops, sound FX and create unique sequences. Definitely a great out of the box choice and pairs really well with Polymoon. Oh

This has the best and one of the meatiest filters in a pedal I have ever owned. A perfect effect for synths and drum machines, I'm sure guitars and bass can find it useful as well. Ever since my Alesis ModFX Philtre decided to leave my life I've been on the hunt for a meaty filter pedal. Meris's Ottobit Jr. surpasses that Alesis in every way. Where the Philtre was just a multiple… read more choice of filters with some modulation to create rhythmic effects, Ottobit Jr is filter with a multiple choice of rhythmic effects via the sequencer and stutter, and a distortion/rate reducer that further colors your sound. And while the Alesis unit was made partly of plastic and for some reason was manufactured with a screw loose inside, Meris products are built like tanks with knobs that have great action that are asking to be tweaked. If you want to spice up your set up this is worth every penny.
