Top notch construction
Love Pedal Power!
This is my 4th different Pedal Power supply. I needed the Mondo to power my Sennheiser guitar wireless and Strymon pedals. I don't use all of the ports on it but that's ok because if I want to try out a pedal there's an empty port to plug it in to. This thing is super silent and fits easy under a PT Classic 2 board. I use the courtesy outlet too so that was super important in my… read more decision to get a Mondo.
Delivers the clean power you need for all of your effects
You've heard this before: I loaded too many digital effects on my pedal board and my 10 year old Voodoo Labs Pedal Power Plus didn't have enough power ports for me to use current doublers. Voodoo Labs knows this and built us the Mondo. I have 3 digital devices that require over 250mA - Source Audio Collider, Strymon Mobius, and a Torpedo CAB-M in additional to my dirt pedals that… read more are sub-100mA. The Mondo does better what the PP Plus did quite well. In fact, the Torpedo is an oddball 12V device and I had been using the included wall wart power supply - which is so cheaply made that there is no way it would last on the road. Mondo powers it..AND...I think the Torpedo sounds much more clean than it did before. There were some other Power Supplies that my great Sweetwater sales person suggested I investigate along with the Mondo. With regard to features, the number of power ports, the amount of power, the isolation (no doubling up pedals on a single power port for me), the use of standard pedal power cabling, it mounts underneath my Pedal Train Classic (with optional brackets), and of course the reputation of Voodoo Labs made this decision a no-brainer.
Power Central
Love the Mondo! I have a lot of high current power pedals with midi control, Bloom, DD500, ES5, Echoplex, RV500 and Volumm. This is a great Power Central for all of your high current midi control pedals. I have owned Voodoo Lab ISO 5 and Pedal Power Plus 2 And only sold them because I upgraded my board. I also like the fact that the company is an American Company not overseas.
