Awesome for worship!

I've been playing on my church's worship team for several years. I started out with a Boss ME-80, then got a Line6 PodGo. When I discovered this pedalboard, I was a bit skeptical. However, one of my friends used this pedalboard too, and he told me to try it out. For the first few days, I was discouraged, because I couldn't get many great tones. Also, the Headrush offers a ton of read more options (over 50 amps)! Soon, however, I was able to get great tones. I love all the special features - the Scenes, the option of having two sets of amp/cabs, the changeable pedal chain, etc. This is an awesome pedalboard and I would highly recommend it to all of you! It does all I need, with 270 rigs available for all types of genres - rock, metal, worship, clean, funk, jazz, blues, etc. P.S. It's also great for bass!

I like the modeling sounds that are almost spot on... Very diverse and most of all - so user friendly. Just got it few weeks ago and I love experimenting with it to create new sounds and variations for any sound you are looking for.... cleans, dirty, metal you name it.

I am shy of 50. Guitarist since early teens playing with cover and original bands all generes through out my life. Professional instrumental educator as well. If it has strings I can play it, both bowed and plucked. I have always been a pedal-amp-cab affectionate player.. I knew that sooner or later I would get to the point where I wouldn't have the stomach to carry the gear. read more I was waiting for the technology to let me stop hauling so much. My colleague had the HD500 then the Helix, but the interface turned me away even though the tone qualities are superb. Years ago, Digitech came out with the "IPB10" which used an Ipad as an interface. This was the first step for me, a drag and drop solution that avoided the line 6 interface. However, even in a 4 cable method the tones where not there and I moved back to my analogue pedals and rig. The Headrush has met my need and exceeded it. Fantastic tones, simple interface, ultimate flexibility. In the studio it also excels. Before I have BiasFX2 in my DAW and I am confident that the Headrush will get more attention. When I saw the Headrush I was skeptical and in denial. The reality is that the Technology has exceed my expectation and caught up with my need to have a compact rig.

Tired of analog pedal boards?

I am 43. I have playing on and off since I was 12. I have gotten more serious again in the past year and got a new guitar, amp, built a custom cab out of 13 ply high density baltic birch. I bought analog pedals. For months I bought pedals. I sold pedals. I returned pedals. I spent no telling how many hours trying to dial in my sound. I could only ever get 95% there. I have read more resisted the modeling trend because I am old school. I decided to try it due to frustration. I sold off my pedals and board on ebay and returned some to Amazon. I bought the headrush pedal board. No regrets. Now the unit by itself modeling is good and probably good enough for most users. It is very good. But for me I was looking for next level perfection. I run 4 cable method through effects loop of my tube amp. Then I blend in pedals to preamp of amp just like you would a normal board. I like the sound of tubes and the harmonics. Gain stack etc. So it took me a week as I am obsessed and like perfection. I finished my sound tonight. I cant believe my ears. To give you an idea. The tone sound like you go to a concert and during sound check the tech takes the guitar and hits a chord and you think "wow that sounds amazing" That is what this unit can do when combined with an amp and 4 cable method. Pro sound 100%. I have never had sound this good. This if dialed in correct and combined with tube amp and 4 cable method in my opinion this unit can produce sound equivalent to a $20,000 rack system. If you are considering this unit. Buy it. And get this....I am getting this sound with an EVH lunchbox tube amp! I could play gigs with this no issue. My guitar is an LTD arrow that I put a SD Alternative 8 in bridge that has alnico 8 magnet.

I've had mine almost a month now, so I've had a bit of time to get into this beast. Between biweekly jam sessions, and studio tracking, I'd have to say... This thing is just about perfect. (For what I do with it) I've been a modeler guy ever since the original Bean came out. I've been through almost every variation of that line, and had happily settled on their last HD version, read more before the onset of third party IRs... Which changed everything. The new sounds available have taken modeling rigs to a whole new and respectable level. Making my way through the endless demos that are out there helped, but also hindered the process of deciding which way to proceed. I ended up going with the Headrush because of its user interface... It's just brilliant. It also sounds great, and is easy to get what you're looking for out of it. This, with a pair of their FRFRs allows me to run my guitars/bsss, synths, and even my vox through a single pair of speakers that pull it off quite nicely at our rehearsals. Is it right for you? Downside? I guess it's a bit heavy, being built like a tank... Kinda big too. Could be an issue if traveling. Give it a whirl!
