im runing through a telecaster to a fender blues jr at the clean channel. i expirianced really experimenting with this pedal alot heres a good tip with any pedal, set you volume to noon when you start fluxing with the knobs. this is indeed a fuzz but can also be a overdrive when you alow only the push knob to be present in the od channel. it does give your strat a thraty honkey read more tone indeed. i love runing this pedal in light crunch thats why i love it. try it out and keep trying to get a use out of it

Love this pedal

Cool pedal that complements my other distortion and OD, and works nice into my EVH. I love the push + mid interactions with pick attack, esp. with light distortion/OD on input (like PG said). Also, no joke, found more faces with this pedal!

This pedal is unique, expressive, and really good.

This pedal seems to have everything I like about an overdrive/distortion pedal and almost all of what I like about a fuzz pedal. The "push" feature seems to give it a huge amount of expression and can do some really cool stuff when you max it out. Honestly, I've been a big Paul Gilbert fan for years, so keep that in mind, but when I play Paul Gilbert style licks now, they come through, read more somehow, with more expression and with more flavor then with my older boss distortion, which was also a great pedal. I would highly recommend this if you want to play a lot of sweet leads n hot licks. On a side note, This pedal has a huge amount of expression available to any user and you absolutely do not need to "shred" to get the most out of it. It does sound great while shredding though.

You have to dial it in but once its there...you are all set!

First and foremost, if you are looking for a white hot death metal distortion pedal, this is not the one for you. For everyone else that craves an awesome sounding distortion/overdirve with a VERY CONVINCING amp pushing simulation and sensitivty, this is IT! After 2+ weeks I have grown to love this pedal! But for some, this pedal may be a bit "saggy" on the low end. So if you play read more intricate metal riffs etc. a lot may get lost in translation. However, as soon as you hit the high end with this pedal, it just sings! The push knob is very responsive and seems to simulate a tube preamp quite well! If you are solely into blues-rock or even rock-rock this could be your one stop OD/distortion. For me, I have a lot more tones to cover so I actually run a Bogner Blue Ecstasy pedal as an alternate distortion in my setup. The two of these pedals covers every distortion tone imaginable. The Bogner distortion sounds more "tight" and modern whereas the PG-14 sounds like the sweetest vintage stack cranked up to 11 (or .1 if you tweak it that way).

Tone for days

This pedal sounds great. The range of tones it can create is very broad ranging from screamer to overdrive to distortion but they all sound unique from other pedals. It's got a different flavor that is not like anything else I've tried. It's the kind of pedal that gets you excited to play and have fun.
