Quiet, Versatile Power Supply

I've got a mix of high-tech digital pedals and old school part-for-part remakes, and this powers everything great. It's a lot quieter than my other supply, particularly for stuff like fuzz that's prone to picking up electrical noise. That also means my reverbs sound better, because they aren't competing with as much background noise. I only have two issues with this unit. One, read more it powers so much stuff that you really should go to the Eventude site, read the manual, and make sure you buy extra connectors of the correct type, if you need to. You're probably fine right out of the box, but it's a downer if you have to order more stuff. Two, the noise floor on my signal was so much lower that I realized my analog delay pedal hums, and that drives me bonkers. Before, the pedal hum was covered up by the hum of the power supply itself. So, now I gotta' buy a new delay pedal too. You might end up going down a similar rabbit hole.

I bought this along with the Egrip mount for my Pedaltrain board. The power supply mounted easily to my board and tucked up nicely under the unit. This is the best choice in power supplies when trying to power digital pedals with higher amperage loads. No noise coming from this unit. It is built like a tank.

Problem solver at its best

I use a Radial Bassbone OD, which at 15v has a large wall wart and I was a pain to use on my pedalboard. So I asked my sales rep Nick Beach who told me about this. A week later it is in use. This thing is silent, flexible and just downright perfect for me. On of the other items is it has a USB port, and is powered by a standard "computer" power cord. Going to order another read more for my other board soon!

Excellent solution for pedalboard power

I'd resisted buying a pedalboard power unit but was having issues with noise from pedals and the Eventide power unit solved that noise problem perfectly! I also really appreciate the variety of cables that came with the unit. It's simple to use, clean, and the only regret I have is that I waited as long as I did to order one.

Love the light weight and the slimness. The heat dispensation is great! I used this under a Pedaltrain Classic Jr. It powers everything on my board. Have gigged with this setup and had no problems PF 1 9v -- Fulltone Octafuzz (8ma - center +, reverse polarity, red cable) PF 2 9v -- EHX B9 (100ma @9v, center -) PF 3 12v -- TC Helicon Play Acoustic (12v, 400ma, center read more -) PF 6 12v >-- Atomic Amplifire 6 (says 1000ma - real life 800ma - @ 12v, center -) PF 7 12v PF 5 12v -- GLX-D (9 to 15v DC, 250ma-400ma, center + or -) PF 4 12v -- H9 (12v 380ma start up, 300ma, center +, green cable)
