Good Low Gain Overdrive
This overdrive pedal is a great low gain overdrive. It stacks well with other overdrive pedals and does a great job of enhancing a tube amp's natural breakup. Placing a boost pedal in front of it will help push the overdrive to breakup more. The output of your guitar's pickups will also affect the drive tone. Hotter pickups will push the pedal harder to give it a dirtier sound.
