The BEST pedal on the market.

How can this be the best? This is not limited to overdrive and gain, which it does quite well. The Revival Drive will expand you tonal options and really will get "that tone" you want to duplicate the tone(s) you heard from your favorite songs' guitar parts. I've played a Strat, Tele, Les Paul, and Gibson Firebird and have yet to not reach a tone I was looking for. The options read more are so expanse, you will find great tones by accident. It is more of a "tone control station" vs an overdrive pedal. Play thru a tube amp? It will enhance your amp's capabilities. Solid state? Thru my Roland Blues Cube Artist, I have been able to dial all tweed, brown, and black Fender option from the late '50s thru the '60s. This is just the start!! Do not let the amount of controls deter you and instead understand that this exceptionally engineered circuitry provides you with so many option. It comes with a 4-sided quick reference guide but there is a link to the owner's manual on the Origin Effects website. Do not be intimidated but rather know this tool packs options that will repeatedly surprise you. The price may seem high but in my 33 years of playing, I am happy to say that it is actually a bargain for everything it delivers. Awesome!

I promise I will... try to keep this brief lol I Have a marshall style tube amp and a JC120 and wanted some American and vox type sounds. Everything I read said this was the bees knees. Drove to sweetwater with my lespaul to test one. The controls are absolutely killer once you figure out whats going on with this pedal! It sounded amazing, It was hard to find a bad sound. read more The silicon side was my favorite by far but both were cool. Brought it home and learned some things I wouldve never guessed. Pickups. LesPaul-yeah! Strat-Terrible. tried for more than a few days with the strat. I figued id find some good fender on fender sounds but no. P90 Gibson-It was all over the place skinny. And it felt like the controls were doing almost nothing to the overdives. 60s large archtop hollowbody with double polarity single coils-Very clanky and metallic on all overdrives. Piezo solidbody-HAHA, I tried it for a while. It was kinda fun and soupy. Id say...Unique. 90s shredder axe with high gain humbuckers-Yeah man! The tones of the hair metal days. Soo much fun yet Im not 15 anymore! I guess for me the pedal was out of the picture for all my single coil guitars. I dont play my shredder these days so that leaves me with just the les paul only. I do really feel that i got a very good grasp on the controls over the couple weeks i had it. But I would pretty much never be using it. I tried various drive and gain pedal combinations while testing guitars. I couldnt find a way to make it happen. In my situation the price doesnt justify a 1 pedal for 1 guitar ratio. In the end I decided for me that at basically a few bucks more I could get the real deal. Since sweetwater is so customer service oriented I decided to spend the extra few bucks and traded it for an ac15. I couldnt be happier!!! Thank you sweetwater! Also I should mention that the revival drive has various settings for direct recording and such that i didnt try because thats not really my thing. So I imagine it might be great for some peoples situations.
