Phenomenal bass
This bass is simply superb. Looks great, sounds amazing, and is surprisingly light. Would highly recommend...this is my forever bass!
This bass is 100% beast !
I recently purchased Euro 5LT . When it arrived via ups I was amazed at how light it was and how beautiful the bass was . I have the red glow finish . The wings are chambered to relieve the weight . I've played lotta great basses in my lifetime and this bass is another great bass . The Bartolinis and Darkglass tone capsule are great combination for great tone and unequalled power… read more . This pre amp is powerful or as some say hot . This bass will make a cheap amp sound great . This was easiest bass to set up that I've ever encountered the bridge is miraculous that a 6yr old could adjust it. In regards to tone this bass IMO needs zero upgrades . The only negative thing I can say about this bass is the neck is long 35 inch scale and neck mignt be issue for anyone with small hands or short arms . Other than that this bass is 100% beast great bass for anyone who wants bone crushing bass . Or whatever tone you prefer . It's a beautiful instrument definitely not a 3 star rating Instrument that's hilarious
Amazing craftsmanship
The team at Sweetwater helped me out so very much on choosing my new bass. It arrived early! Set up was perfect and I can't put it down. The Spector Euro 5 LT is a true work of art, hard to imagine in this price point such a high end instrument. Many thanks to Nick and the super staff at Sweetwater you always hit it out of the park. Not worth the money
Waited for this for many months as it was a pre order. And 1st new bass in a long time. Having a euro lx and starr i had hight hopes and given the way they talked it up andbthe few namm demos. Upon getting it the finish is amazing the neck and frets are nice and fast and easy and it weighed less than my 4 strings with it being a 5 string(shoulda mentioned that lol) Plugged it in… read more the tone is nice crisp and clear. Now the bad. This bass had no power and growl no force or what I feel is tge spector sound/tone quality I was used too.i had to crank the volumes on my amo and pedal. In doing thid I couldnt use any 4's cuz they were too loud. The tone was very clicky clacky. Bartolini and the dg preamp aren't a good combo. They also dont mention you can adjust the mids in the back compartment. Adding a bit more mids helped the tone. But for the price they couldnt add or stack a knob??? Used it for a few gigs and was very very disappointed. Will never buy another one of these. Had a few frineds get one and had same issues and swap out the pickups and say it got better by alot. But again for the price i feel it should be way better. Dont waste your money
Spector Euro5 LT
Initially I was concerned with the bass being too light, but that"s not the case. With the maple top, there"s plenty of weight to deliver great tones. In addition to the maple top; the Bartolini, Darkglass preamp, ebony fretboard, and neck through combination works well together. On the first gig, I was able to find my place in the mix easily and had plenty of adjustability . Also,… read more each string was balanced in volume which is hard to do sometimes. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.
